YOUR ROLE Provide leadership for the development and implementation of quality systems for production and support functions to assure product excellence and compliance to all applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards. Develop and implement SHEQ programs to ensure that the manufacturing and production processes meet the highest quality standards and that the working conditions of the company minimize risk and enhance safety. Provide leadership and technical expertise in the areas of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, product safety, and environmental protection. Proactively identifies quality risk areas at plant level and recommends and implements improved quality assurance systems. Lead the sites sustainability initiatives in support of Henkels Sustainability Ambassadors program to drive superior results related to energy and water consumption and waste reduction. Develop techniques for ensuring the maintenance of quality levels and maintains a continuous inspection, testing, analysis, and problem resolution process to ensure quality standards can be met on a continuous basis. Work directly with manufacturing to schedule and control inspection activities and to enforce requirements as specified by raw materials, ingredients, products, and package specifications, and regulatory agencies. Drive excellence in quality practices and provide training support in quality systems. Communicate new and existing SHEQ regulatory compliance requirements and Henkel SHEQ Standards to SHEQ professionals, Site Managers, and Site Leadership Team. Establish audit schedule and lead site audit programs, including SHE and ISO (9k, 14k, 45k and 50k certifications). Develop appropriate corrective action plans and track implementation of corrective actions following audit(s). Work closely with Global SHEQ Management on alignment of SHEQ programs.
YOUR SKILLS Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field with minimum 8 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a working knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e. OSHA, FDA), SHEQ Program Management (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, and Quality), Risk Management, Behavior-Based Safety, Training, and Auditing.
